Discover how sunlight powers moving models with the Fischertechnik Solar Power construction set, designed for children aged 8 and up.

Build and explore solar-powered models

Build an aeroplane, helicopter, windmill or carousel, then explore how the solar module and motor work together. The module contains four solar cells that capture sunlight and supply energy to the motor, setting parts such as the helicopter's rotor blades in motion.

Hands-on learning about solar energy

This hands-on kit introduces solar energy through building and experimenting. Online educational information accompanies the set to help children explore the technology behind their models.

Recommended age: 8 years and up.
Solar-powered movement depends on sufficient sunlight.
