Steiff's Classic 1906 Teddy bear is made in the style of the bears Steiff was selling in that year. He has low, neat ears, a fairly pronounced muzzle and a bold, hand-stitched nose and mouth. This bear is made from reddish blond, Schulte mohair and the reverse of the mohair material has been used for his contrasting muzzle. This is a traditionally jointed teddy bear, with pale paw pads and stitched claws. He is surface washable, with safety eyes and bears the famous Steiff brass-plated button in ear and yellow label.
